The Sound Stick™ sends a signal to a control
panel which houses the programmable controller and sound card. Each card
holds up to 24 minutes of sound which can be a message, welcome or themed
sound relevant to the play scenario. Each Sound StickTM can even play
multiple messages activated from different activator pads, or played
in sequence either following activation or at pre-set time delays.
The
Sound Stick™, introduced to widen accessible play for children
of all ages and abilities, offers a unique opportunity to bring inclusive
play into new or existing playgrounds. Each Sound StickTM houses an
activator button and a speaker. The button only requires the lightest
touch to trigger a customised sound. The height of the bollard can
be amended at manufacture to suit individual requirements. Situated
at the edge of the main play area, the Sound StickTM offers less confident
or disabled children the opportunity to be very much part of the play
