PlugIn&Play - Educational table top water play

SSP Hippo has developed ‘Plug In & Play’ to offer value for money educational water play for nurseries and primary schools with children from 3 upwards. The unique modular, interchangeable design allows you to purchase as little as a single tank and then add both features and extra tanks as required. Each high quality piece of play equipment is constructed from a combination of stainless steel and durable GRP that can be coloured in a number of primary or natural shades.

Water is fed into the system from a simple connection to mains water and moves by gravity from one tank to the next via inter-connecting gullies. At the end of each play session, the equipment can be stored away safely, and the tanks secured with decorative lids that offer all year round play functionality. The Department for Education and Skills has identified outdoor play as a critical resource for the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Water play will help the development of essential skills such as: observation problem solving prediction critical thinking decision making

Plan based activities will stimulate:

• exploration
• identification (shapes, colours, measurements)
